Dr Chris Karikios’ approach to dentistry can be summed up in a simple statement: “We constantly strive for better”.
Whether it’s through the use of technology, continuing education, or patient feedback, this is the ethos Dr Karikios applies to all his work at CBD Dental.
With a particular interest in the use of virtual reality design in clinical dentistry, Dr Chris is especially focused on the CEREC system – a facet of dentistry that he and his staff constantly refine with continuing education and the use of the Invisalign.
As for what attracted him to dentistry, Dr Chris Karikios believes the appeal lies in the way this field combines so many different elements.

“My passion is keeping my patients smiling and in good health; function is only part of the equation. I take the time to discuss what they hope to achieve in terms of their treatment, and quite often, I can establish the best treatment plan through this discussion alone.”

As he explains, “we are engineers, artists, scientists, project managers, and listeners – and it’s all those elements that make dentistry fun. But most importantly, we make a positive difference in people’s lives”.
Not only did Chris attend Sydney University, but he’s also lived in the city’s Eastern Suburbs throughout his life – making our city-centre dental practice the ideal place for him to build relationships with both fellow residents and visitors.
In his spare time, Dr Chris Karikios enjoys a range of water-based activities, particularly surfing – a passion that he shares with his wife and two children.
